OUR VISION

Westwing is Europ’s #1 in Beautiful Living e-commerce - a premium one-stop destination for Design Lovers.

We create an inspirational shopping experience by offering daily Retail Campaigns with carefully curated themes, alongside our permanent assortment - from the best third-party design brands to our own Westwing Collection.


Our mission is to inspire our customers with captivating homestories, showcasing the most inspirational homes and making them shoppable, as well as through a premium selection of products.

Founders & Management

Westwing was established by Chief Creative Officer Delia Lachance, alongside Stefan Smalla and co-founders Tim SchΓ€fer, Matthias Siepe, and Georg Biersack. Andreas Hoerning (CEO) and Sebastian Westrich (CFO) constitute the Management Board of the company. They are supported by a highly skilled team of seasoned executives at the headquarters and across the local markets.

DELIA LACHANCE

Founder & Chief Creative Advisor

Prior to Westwing, Delia worked as an editor at ELLE Magazine and ELLE Decoration Germany. Together with her team, she inspires style-conscious people across Europe every day. She made history in 2018 by ringing the bell to mark Westwing's IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In addition to her professional activities, Delia has become a pioneer of female entrepreneurship and leadership.

ANDREAS HOERNING

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to his role as CEO, Andreas was Chief Commercial Officer and Founder of the Westwing Collection. Before Westwing, Andreas was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he supported industrial and consumer goods clients in strategy, operating model, and performance. He holds a PhD in commercial law from Berlin’s Humboldt University.

SEBASTIAN WESTRICH

Chief Financial Officer

Sebastian brings extensive expertise in e-commerce and finance, having spent over eight years at Hubert Burda Media in various leadership roles within the Digital division. Before joining Westwing, he served as CFO at Cyberport and as CFO and Managing Director at Burda Digital, where he further honed his skills in financial strategy and management. Prior to these roles, Sebastian led Investment Management at Burda Digital, solidifying his reputation as a trusted expert in his field.
